Agreement to Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Pursue IQ ("we," "us," or "our") regarding your use of our website and services. By accessing our website or purchasing our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use our services.

Description of Services

Pursue IQ provides career coaching and educational services to college students and recent graduates, including:

  • Cohort-based career coaching programs

  • Resume and cover letter development

  • LinkedIn profile optimization

  • Career strategy and planning guidance

  • Office hours for parents to ask questions about supporting their students

IMPORTANT: Nature of Services

OUR SERVICES ARE EDUCATIONAL AND COACHING SERVICES ONLY. WE ARE NOT THERAPISTS, MENTAL HEALTH PROFESSIONALS, OR LICENSED COUNSELORS.

Our services provide:

  • Career guidance and strategy

  • Professional development coaching

  • Job search techniques and best practices

  • Document review and feedback

  • Educational information about career planning

Our services DO NOT provide:

  • Therapy or mental health treatment

  • Medical advice

  • Psychological counseling

  • Crisis intervention

  • Treatment for mental health conditions

Guaranteed employment outcomes

If you are experiencing mental health challenges, please seek support from a licensed mental health professional. If you are in crisis, please contact the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 988 or seek immediate emergency assistance.

Eligibility

Our services are designed for:

College students aged 18 and older

Recent graduates

Parents of college students seeking guidance on supporting their students

You must be at least 18 years old to purchase or use our services. By using our services, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

Registration and Account

When you register for our programs, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information

  • Maintain and update your information as needed

  • Maintain the confidentiality of your account login information

  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account

  • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

Payment Terms

Pricing and Payment

All prices are listed in U.S. dollars

Payment is processed through Stripe, a third-party payment processor

Full payment is required at the time of registration unless otherwise specified

We accept major credit cards and debit cards as processed through Stripe

Refund Policy

Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis

If you feel the program is not the right fit after the first session, please contact us directly within 48 hours

We will work with you to find a solution, which may include a refund, transfer to a different program, or other accommodation

No refunds will be issued after completing more than one session

Refunds, if granted, will be processed within 10-15 business days

Non-Payment

Failure to pay for services may result in suspension or termination of access to program materials and sessions.

Program Participation

Your Responsibilities

By participating in our programs, you agree to:

  • Attend scheduled sessions or review recorded sessions if you must miss a live session

  • Complete assigned work and exercises

  • Communicate professionally and respectfully with coaches and other participants

  • Come prepared to sessions

  • Take responsibility for implementing the strategies and guidance provided

Our Responsibilities

We will:

  • Provide the coaching sessions, materials, and resources described in the program

  • Respond to questions during designated office hours or communication windows

  • Provide feedback on submitted materials (resumes, cover letters, etc.)

  • Create a supportive learning environment

Recording and Confidentiality Policy

Session Recordings

All cohort coaching sessions are recorded for the benefit of participants who are unable to attend live sessions

Recordings are stored securely and are accessible only to enrolled participants in that specific cohort

Recordings are retained for the duration of the program and for [specify timeframe, e.g., 30 days] after program completion

Recordings may not be downloaded, shared, or distributed outside of the enrolled cohort

Access to recordings will be revoked upon completion or termination of your enrollment


Participant Recording Prohibited

You may not record, screenshot, or capture any portion of live sessions, recorded sessions, or program materials without express written permission from Pursue IQ.

Unauthorized recording is a violation of these Terms and may result in immediate removal from the program without refund.

Confidentiality in Group Settings

  • By participating in group cohort sessions, you acknowledge that:

  • Sessions include other participants, and complete confidentiality cannot be guaranteed

  • You should use discretion when sharing personal or sensitive information

  • All participants are expected to respect the privacy of others and not share information discussed in sessions outside the group

  • Pursue IQ is not responsible for any breach of confidentiality by other participants

Private Information

We will:

  • Keep individual coaching communications and submitted materials (resumes, cover letters, personal documents) confidential

  • Not share your personal materials or individual progress with other participants without your consent

  • Use reasonable security measures to protect your information

Use of Session Content

Pursue IQ reserves the right to use anonymized content, examples, or insights from sessions for:

  • Training purposes

  • Educational materials

  • Program improvement

  • Marketing materials (with all personally identifying information removed)

If you have concerns about confidentiality or would like to discuss specific privacy needs, please contact us directly.

Parent Access and Student Privacy

For Students 18 and Older

If you are 18 years of age or older, you are considered an independent adult for purposes of these Terms. Your participation, progress, and materials are confidential between you and Pursue IQ unless you provide explicit consent for us to share information with your parent or guardian.

Parent Office Hours

Parent office hours are designed to provide general guidance to parents on how to support their college students. During parent office hours:

  • We provide general career development strategies and advice

  • We do NOT share specific information about individual students unless the student has provided consent

  • Parents may ask general questions about career planning, job search strategies, and how to support their student

  • Any specific questions about an individual student's progress require that student's prior written consent

Student Consent for Parent Communication

If you would like Pursue IQ to communicate with your parent or guardian about your specific progress, materials, or participation, you must provide written consent by:

  • Emailing us from your registered email address

  • Explicitly stating what information may be shared

  • Identifying the specific parent or guardian authorized to receive information

You may revoke this consent at any time by emailing us.

For Students Under 18

If you are under 18 years of age, your parent or guardian who registered you for the program is considered your representative and may receive information about your progress and participation.

Testimonials and Marketing Use

Permission to Use Testimonials

By providing feedback, testimonials, reviews, or success stories to Pursue IQ, you grant us permission to:

Use your testimonial in marketing materials, website, social media, and promotional content

Edit your testimonial for length, clarity, or grammar while maintaining the substance of your feedback

Use your first name and last initial, or "Anonymous" if you prefer

What We Share

Unless you provide explicit written permission otherwise, we will:

Use only your first name and last initial (e.g., "Sarah M.")

NOT share your photo without separate written consent

NOT share your school name, employer, or other identifying details without your consent

Allow you to remain anonymous if you prefer

Opting Out

You may opt out of having your testimonial used by:

Indicating your preference when submitting feedback

Contacting us at any time to request removal of your testimonial

We will remove your testimonial from future materials within 30 days of your request (though we cannot recall materials already distributed)

Success Stories and Case Studies

We may request permission to feature your success story in more detail as a case study. This will always require your separate, explicit written consent, and you will have the opportunity to review the content before publication.

No Compensation

You understand and agree that you will not receive compensation for testimonials or the use of your success story in our marketing materials.

Materials Delivery and Response Times

Timeline for Deliverables

Pursue IQ will provide materials and feedback according to the following general timelines:

Resume/Cover Letter Feedback: Within [7-10 business days] of submission during the program period

LinkedIn Profile Review: Within [7-10 business days] of submission during the program period

Responses to Questions: During designated office hours or within [48-72 hours] via email for enrolled participants

Program Materials: Delivered during scheduled sessions or made available in the program portal

Delays and Extensions

Timelines are estimates and may be subject to:

Program schedule and cohort size

Holidays and business closures

Unforeseen circumstances

Quality of initial submission (complex revisions may require additional time)

We will communicate any significant delays and work with you to establish revised timelines.

Session Rescheduling

If Pursue IQ needs to reschedule a session:

We will provide at least [48 hours] notice when possible

We will offer alternative session times or recordings

Rescheduling by Pursue IQ does not affect your enrollment or program completion

If you need to miss a session:

Recordings will be available for you to review

You remain responsible for any assignments or action items from that session

Repeated absences may impact your ability to complete the program successfully

Attendance and Participation Requirements

Minimum Participation

To successfully complete the program and receive all deliverables (resume, cover letter, LinkedIn profile, career plan), you are expected to:

Attend at least [specify percentage, e.g., 75%] of live sessions OR review recordings within [specify timeframe, e.g., 7 days]

Complete and submit required assignments and materials by specified deadlines

Participate actively in sessions and respond to feedback

Engage respectfully with coaches and other participants

Missed Sessions

If you miss a live session:

Recordings will be available in the program portal within [24-48 hours]

You are responsible for reviewing the recording and completing any assignments

You may ask follow-up questions during the next session or office hours

Excessive absences without reviewing recordings may result in incomplete deliverables

Incomplete Participation

If you do not meet minimum participation requirements:

You may not receive all program deliverables (resume, cover letter, LinkedIn optimization, career plan)

You may receive materials based on the work you have submitted, but they may be incomplete

No refund will be provided for non-participation or incomplete engagement

We will make reasonable efforts to work with you to complete requirements, but we cannot guarantee outcomes if you do not fulfill your responsibilities

Extensions

In extenuating circumstances (medical emergencies, family emergencies, etc.), you may request an extension by contacting us directly. Extensions are granted at Pursue IQ's sole discretion and may not be available for all programs.

Technical Requirements and Responsibilities

Minimum Technical Requirements

To participate in Pursue IQ programs, you must have:

Reliable high-speed internet connection (minimum [5 Mbps] download speed recommended)

A computer, tablet, or smartphone capable of accessing video conferencing platforms (Zoom or similar)

A working camera and microphone for live sessions

An email address for program communications

Ability to access and download materials in common formats (PDF, DOCX, etc.)

Your Technical Responsibility

You are responsible for:

Ensuring your technology meets minimum requirements

Troubleshooting your own technical issues

Having backup plans for connectivity issues (mobile hotspot, alternative location, etc.)

Testing your technology before sessions

Keeping your software and applications up to date

Technical Issues

If you experience technical difficulties:

Pursue IQ is not responsible for technical issues on your end that prevent participation

Session recordings will be available if you cannot attend due to technical problems

We will make reasonable efforts to assist with platform-related issues

No refunds will be provided for technical issues on your end

If technical issues are on Pursue IQ's end, we will reschedule or provide recordings

Platform Access

Access to the program platform and materials requires login credentials

You are responsible for keeping your login information secure

You may not share your login credentials with others

Access will be revoked upon program completion or termination

Career Outcomes and Statistics

No Guarantee of Specific Outcomes

While we are committed to providing high-quality coaching and tools, we cannot and do not guarantee:

That you will secure any specific internship, job, or opportunity

Any particular salary, compensation, or benefits

Acceptance to any graduate program or position

Any specific timeline for achieving career goals

That you will receive interviews or job offers

Factors Affecting Outcomes

Your career outcomes depend on many factors outside of Pursue IQ's control, including but not limited to:

Your individual qualifications, experience, and education

The job market and economic conditions

Your geographic location and mobility

The competitiveness of your field

Your effort in implementing strategies and advice

Timing and availability of opportunities

Employer preferences and hiring decisions

Our Role

Pursue IQ's role is to provide you with:

Knowledge and understanding of effective job search strategies

High-quality, professional application materials

Confidence and clarity in your career direction

Tools and frameworks you can use throughout your career

Support and guidance during your program

Your success depends on how you apply what you learn.

Success Statistics and Testimonials

If Pursue IQ shares success rates, outcome statistics, or testimonial data:

Past results do not guarantee or predict future outcomes

Statistics represent results from previous participants and may not reflect your individual results

Many factors contribute to career outcomes beyond program participation

Success stories are individual experiences and not typical results

Participation in Data Collection

We may collect anonymized data about participant outcomes for program improvement and marketing purposes. By enrolling, you consent to:

Providing voluntary feedback about your outcomes after program completion

Being included in aggregate statistics (e.g., "85% of participants reported increased confidence")

Having your anonymized data used for program assessment

You may opt out of outcome data collection at any time by contacting us. Opting out does not affect your program participation.

Communication Channels and Expectations

Official Communication Methods

Pursue IQ communicates with participants through:

Email: Primary method for program updates, materials, and individual communications

SMS/Text Messages: For appointment reminders, urgent updates, and brief communications (you may opt out)

Program Platform: For accessing session recordings, materials, and announcements

Live Sessions: For real-time coaching and Q&A

Your Responsibility

You are responsible for:

Checking your email regularly (at least every 48 hours during the program)

Maintaining current contact information

Responding to communications within reasonable timeframes

Reading all program materials and announcements

Notifying us of any email or contact changes

Response Time Expectations

Pursue IQ will make reasonable efforts to respond to communications:

Email Questions: Within [48-72 hours] during business days

Office Hours Questions: Answered during designated office hours or via follow-up email

Urgent Matters: We will prioritize urgent issues, but response times may vary

Please note:

Response times may be longer during weekends, holidays, or high-volume periods

Complex questions may require additional time to research and respond

We do not provide 24/7 support or emergency services

After-Hours and Emergency Contact

Pursue IQ does NOT provide after-hours or emergency support

Career coaching is not an emergency service

Communication Boundaries

To maintain professional boundaries and effective service:

Communications should be sent during reasonable business hours when possible

We may not respond to communications sent late at night or on weekends until the next business day

Please keep communications professional and respectful

Excessive or inappropriate communications may result in program termination

Your career outcomes depend on many factors including your individual effort, market conditions, qualifications, experience, and factors outside our control. Our role is to provide you with knowledge, tools, strategies, and guidance—the results depend on your application of these resources.

Intellectual Property

Our Content

All content provided through our programs, including but not limited to:

Course materials and handouts

Templates and worksheets

Video recordings and presentations

Written content and resources, Frameworks and methodologies are the intellectual property of Pursue IQ and are protected by copyright laws. You may not:

Reproduce, distribute, or share our materials with others outside the program

Use our materials for commercial purposes

Modify or create derivative works from our materials

Remove copyright or proprietary notices

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the materials solely for your personal, non-commercial use in connection with the program you've enrolled in.

Use License

Grant of License

Permission is granted to access and view materials provided through Pursue IQ programs for personal, non-commercial use only. This is the grant of a limited license, not a transfer of title or ownership.

Restrictions

Under this license, you may NOT:

Modify, copy, or reproduce the materials for any purpose other than personal use

Use the materials for any commercial purpose or public display (commercial or non-commercial)

Attempt to decompile, reverse engineer, or disassemble any software or materials

Remove any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notations from the materials

Transfer, sell, or distribute the materials to another person or entity

"Mirror" the materials on any other server or platform

Create derivative works based on our materials

License Termination

This license shall automatically terminate if you violate any of these restrictions and may be terminated by Pursue IQ at any time. Upon termination of this license, you must immediately:

Cease all use of the materials

Destroy any downloaded materials in your possession, whether in electronic or printed format

Delete any copies of materials from your devices

Your Content

You retain ownership of any materials you create and submit (such as your resume or cover letter). By submitting materials to us, you grant us permission to:

Review and provide feedback on your materials

Use anonymized examples for educational purposes (with all identifying information removed)

We will never share your personal materials with third parties without your explicit consent.

Code of Conduct

All participants in Pursue IQ programs are expected to maintain professional and respectful behavior. By participating in our services, you agree to:

Prohibited Activities

You may not:

Use our services for any illegal activity or purpose

Engage in any conduct that violates federal, state, local, or international laws

Commit fraud or provide false information

Transmit viruses, malware, or any harmful code

Use data mining, bots, or automated data collection methods

Harass, threaten, or abuse other participants, coaches, or staff

Disrupt sessions or program activities

Share or distribute our proprietary materials without permission

Use our services for any purpose other than intended

Professional Behavior

You are expected to:

Treat all participants, coaches, and staff with respect and dignity

Maintain confidentiality of information shared by other participants

Communicate professionally in all interactions

Participate constructively in group sessions

Follow all program guidelines and instructions

Violations and Consequences

Violation of this Code of Conduct may result in:

Removal from the program without refund

Suspension or termination of access to program materials

Legal action if applicable

Whether conduct violates our Code of Conduct will be determined at Pursue IQ's sole discretion.

Pursue IQ's Rights to Operate Services

Pursue IQ reserves the following rights in operating our services:

Service Modifications

Pursue IQ may modify, suspend, discontinue, or refuse to provide services at any time for any reason, with or without notice

We may make changes to program content, structure, delivery methods, or features at our discretion

We will use commercially reasonable efforts to minimize disruption, but some changes may occur without advance notice

Account and Access Management

Pursue IQ may remove any participant from our services at any time for any reason, at our sole discretion

This right is not modified by any other section of this Agreement

We reserve the right to access your account to respond to technical support requests, maintain security, or for other legitimate business purposes

Policy Changes

Pursue IQ reserves the right to modify, suspend, or alter any policies, including refund policies, at our sole discretion

Changes will be posted on our website with an updated "Last Updated" date

Continued use of services after changes constitutes acceptance of modified terms

Enforcement Rights

Pursue IQ reserves the right to remove any participant without warning if they violate any provision of this Agreement

We may suspend access pending investigation of potential violations

We have absolute discretion in interpreting and enforcing these Terms

No Guarantee of Availability

Pursue IQ does not guarantee that services will be error-free, uninterrupted, or always accessible

We may experience technical difficulties, scheduled maintenance, or unexpected downtime

We are not liable for any inability to access services due to technical issues, maintenance, or other factors beyond our reasonable control

Confidentiality and Privacy

Group Coaching Sessions

Our programs may include group coaching sessions. Participants are expected to:

Respect the privacy and confidentiality of other participants

Not share personal information shared by others outside the group

Maintain a professional and supportive environment

We cannot guarantee complete confidentiality in group settings and recommend that you use discretion when sharing personal information.

Communications

We may communicate with you via email, the platform we use for sessions (such as Zoom), or other channels. By enrolling in our services, you consent to receive communications related to your program.

Code of Conduct

Participants must:

Treat coaches and other participants with respect

Refrain from harassment, discrimination, or abusive behavior

Not disrupt sessions or program activities

Comply with all applicable laws

We reserve the right to remove any participant who violates this code of conduct without refund.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

Pursue IQ, its owners, employees, and contractors shall not be liable for:

Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages

Loss of profits, revenue, data, or opportunities

Career outcomes or employment results

Decisions made based on information provided in our programs

Any damages arising from your use or inability to use our services

Technical issues, service interruptions, or loss of data


OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO OUR SERVICES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SPECIFIC PROGRAM OR SERVICE GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.


Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties or limitation of liability for incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Pursue IQ and its owners, employees, and contractors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:

Your violation of these Terms

Your violation of any rights of another party

Any content you submit or share

Disclaimers

"As Is" Services

THE SERVICES AND MATERIALS PROVIDED BY PURSUE IQ ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

Pursue IQ makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties, including without limitation:

Implied warranties of merchantability

Fitness for a particular purpose

Non-infringement of intellectual property or other violation of rights

That the services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free

That results obtained from the use of services will be accurate or reliable

That the quality of any services, information, or materials obtained will meet your expectations

You hereby agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pursue IQ, its owners, employees, and contractors from any loss, liability, damage, or costs, including court costs and attorney fees, that may be incurred in connection with the services provided by Pursue IQ, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.

Our services provide educational information and coaching guidance. They do not constitute:

Legal advice

Financial advice

Medical advice

Therapeutic or psychological counseling

Guaranteed employment or career outcomes

You should consult with appropriate licensed professionals for specific advice related to your individual circumstances.

Accuracy of Information

Pursue IQ does not warrant or make any representations concerning:

The accuracy, likely results, or reliability of the coaching sessions

The accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of information provided

The suitability of any strategies for your particular situation

Changes in employment market conditions or hiring practices

The content provided during sessions or on the website

Third-Party Resources

We may provide links to third-party websites or resources. We are not responsible for:

The availability or content of third-party sites

Any products, services, or content available from third parties

The privacy practices of third-party sites

Any link does not imply endorsement by Pursue IQ of any third-party site

Errors and Corrections

No Guarantee of Accuracy

The materials and information provided through Pursue IQ may include technical, typographical, or content errors. Pursue IQ does not warrant that:

Any materials on the website or in programs are accurate, complete, or current

Services will be error-free or defects will be corrected

Any offerings will always be accessible or functional

Right to Make Changes

Pursue IQ may make changes, corrections, or updates to materials, content, or services at any time without notice. However, Pursue IQ does not make any commitment to update materials or correct errors.

User Responsibility

You are responsible for:

Verifying the accuracy of information before relying on it

Using your own judgment in applying strategies or guidance

Seeking professional advice when appropriate

Understanding that market conditions and best practices may change

Remedies for Violations

Pursue IQ reserves the right to seek all remedies available at law and in equity for violations of this Agreement, including but not limited to:

  • Removing participants from programs without refund

  • Suspending or terminating access to services and materials

  • Blocking access from particular IP addresses or user identifiers

  • Pursuing legal action for damages

  • Referring violations to appropriate law enforcement authorities

  • Seeking injunctive relief to prevent ongoing or future violations

The exercise of any remedy does not preclude the exercise of any other remedy available under this Agreement or applicable law.

Modification and Termination

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting updated Terms on our website with a new "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of our services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Changes to Services

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of our services at any time, with or without notice.

Termination by Us

We may terminate or suspend your access to our services immediately, without prior notice or liability, if you:

Breach these Terms

Violate our code of conduct

Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity

Fail to pay for services

Termination by You

You may stop using our services at any time. Any fees already paid are non-refundable except as specified in our refund policy.

Dispute Resolution

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Nevada, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Informal Resolution

If you have any concerns or disputes, please contact us first so we can attempt to resolve the issue informally.

Waiver of Trial by Jury

YOU AND PURSUE IQ HEREBY WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO TRIAL BY JURY IN ANY PROCEEDING ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF OUR SERVICES.

Arbitration

Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or our services shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the Commercial Arbitration Rules of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitration shall take place in Nevada, or via video conference if both parties agree. Each party shall bear its own costs and fees. 

Class Action Waiver

You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

Time Limit for Claims

You agree that any cause of action or claim that you may have against Pursue IQ must be commenced within one (1) year after the cause of action or claim arises. If you do not bring your claim within this one-year period, your claim is permanently barred.

Exceptions

Entire Agreement

Severability
